January is the perfect time to re-align with your intentions for the new year, and enjoy your yoga practice in a setting that is sure to kindle your glow ... that inner and outer radiance of joy and fulfillment that comes from the balance of activity and rest.
 
Set in the hills and surrounded by jungle and ocean, Haramara Retreat in Sayulita, Mexico, provides the perfect backdrop for your week of yoga, movement, adventure and rest.  

We'll explore the yoga practice with an emphasis on form, function and fun!  Don't worry if you've not been on your mat for a while, or if twice daily yoga practices feels like "a lot."  The balance of our practices each day will challenge and nourish you, with reminders to be mindful and attentive to your inner guide.  Morning practices will focus on basics:  alignment, customized postural modifications, breath quality, and learning to move mindfully and with intention.  Afternoon practices will be more fluid, incorporating what we discover in the mornings, and bringing in new dimensions of movement through thoughtful sequences and playful themes.

There is, of course, plenty of time for rest and free time to do what you'd like when you're away from the drum-beat of your typical day at home.  If you tend to have very busy, full, intense days, maybe you just want to stay put.  Indulge in healing mind/body therapies, nap, read.  If you desire more activity, you can explore the nearby beaches and towns, enjoy water sports, go hiking, bird watching ... opportunities abound.  Mexico's rich, colorful and vibrant culture reawakens the senses!

You have a whole week to find your glow.  With the guidance of an expert teacher (yours truly), and the expert support of the Haramara staff, your time can evolve however you choose.  Everything is taken care of for you when you arrive.  All you need to do is say Yes.
