Dear Partner:
Fountain of Hope Ministries is seeing an increase in people coming in for prayer and also for clothing and food. We are so thankful to God for the wonderful volunteers and all our supporters. Thank you to those who support us financially and those who provide food items and clothing. We would not be able to carry on without you. May God bless you abundantly.
Although we have had our sad moments, like when our Board Chair went to be with the Lord. But rejoice that we now have a new Chair for our Board.
It is such a joy to be in the prayer rooms and see the changes on people's faces as God brings healing to them. Much has happened on the Monday and Tuesday clothing and food give away days. There have been several salvations and the people are so thankful to be able to get necessary food and clothing.
We pray everyone will get rest and refreshed over the next two months as we close for the summer and look forward to seeing you back on September 9th

Healing Room Testimony:
In May I was suffering from severe pain and spasms in my whole back. Chiropractor and Naturopath products did not work. They helped but pain, for a month, that would not go away. I was on the ministry team at FOHM and, before opening to the public, I told the team leader about my back expressing a real need for a "thumping" on my back. She came and touched my back and prayed. I sensed the presence of God/Holy Spirit come down heavy on my whole being and the next thing I knew I felt like a body slam onto the floor and at the same time my neck was jerked by a hand unseen (God’s) as I lay there. I realized I could turn my stiff neck around. Stretching out onto the floor the pain was gone. Then, the Joy of the Lord came upon me and I was laughing. I could roll over with no pain. Over the next few days healing continued and as of late Sunday night, May 26, I was pain free, my neck was set free. I know there was a kidney stone stuck but it passed, confirmed by my Naturopath. Somehow something broke free. I know only my Jesus, my God, my Holy Spirit could have done this miracle and there are several witnesses to this experience of miracle healing at FOHM through Christ Jesus and Him only. I thank him and praise Him and give him all the glory. A.L.

Testimonies of Salvation:
Recently we had one man come in for free food and clothing. He said he was trying to take his life by stepping out in front of cars.
He said he had nothing to live for. The team talked with him, encouraged him, and he stayed for the duration of the afternoon during which time he committed his life to Christ and went out a changed person after much prayer. He then came back when we were closing and thanked us for his new life, We assured Him it was not us but Jesus.
Another man came in and said, "I need some food and I need Jesus." This man asked to speak with a Pastor. There happened to be a visiting pastor that day. She spoke with him, prayed with him, and he committed his life to Christ. We were able to give him a bible and list of scriptures to read. Then we all celebrated with Him.

Upcoming Events:
SUMMER CLOSURE: FOHM will be closed as of Friday, July 19th and will re-open Monday, September 9th. To all our volunteers, "thank you" and have a great summer!!
NEW!! Once a month Prayer Meeting: Over the summer we will continue to meet for prayer on Friday, July 26th and Friday, August 30th at 7 pm at FOHM. Please join us to pray for our city, and the community we serve.
BarBQ for the Neighbourhood: Saturday, September 14th. We need donations and volunteers. Contact Fountain of Hope admin@fountainofhopemhc.com for more information.

Art Sozo
The Kitchener Sozo team and some friends enjoyed an evening workshop of Art Sozo. It was incredibly healing and very worthwhile for getting in touch with our emotions to allow God to bring freedom and wholeness.
What is Art Sozo?
Gail Spooner, founder of Art Sozo, explains it this way: Art Sozo is a unique take on the Sozo process, blending traditional Sozo inner healing tools with the freedom of art as a way to connect with God and heal wounds and lies. It is done in a workshop setting that creates a safe environment filled with intimacy, where God can powerfully move and touch people’s hearts, releasing creativity and bringing lasting healing.
