While the idea of “decorating on a dime” began more out of necessity than creative instinct, doing so has become one of my favorite ways to design a space.
BUY: A zipper bed bug mattress cover to cover up the school mattress. Normal mattress cover on top, 2 sets of cotton white sheets (easy to bleach to clean). One comforter with a duvet cover that can be removed to wash just the duvet cover. One mattress topper and two bed pillows.
Check the school given email. Lots of freshmen aren’t in the habit of their school email and things can fall through the cracks! So, putting the email, on your phone where you can easily check it is a must have!
