LEPTOSPIROSIS OUTBREAKThere have been six confirmed cases of leptospirosis within the inner city Sydney area (Surry Hills, Glebe, Darlinghurst). Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that can cause kidney, liver or systemic disease. The symptoms include vomiting, fever and/or lethargy. At this time we are recommending dogs that visit the area mentioned above to get vaccinated.
