A FORCE FOR SMART SMES TO GROW STRONG

EABC SME Working Group attended a brief Summary of the BOI Seminar on July 5, 2019. In the seminar, BOI revealed that they encourage innovation with following factors: high Technology business, Innovation business and Location of facilities in low income area or a special Economic zone.

The benefit of getting support is not only monetary. There are also other benefits, such as allowing a company to be 100% owned by foreigners, Land can be owned by foreigners, export foreign currency etc.

This Paper is a resource for the Royal Thai Government’s regulators and policymakers to learn about the issues and to find the best approach, our contribution to improve Thailand’s competitiveness for the mutual benefit of the two economies, and for long‐term European investment in Thailand. The Position Paper also plays an important role in the meeting with the European Embassies and the Bilateral Chambers of Commerce.

Advertisements will be included in this Position Paper which again will be a book. This is an excellent opportunity to make a company known directly to high level officials in the Thai government.

GUILLOTINE PROJECT

 
The Guillotine Project is a fast track way of reviewing laws and regulations and removing unnecessary or unwanted laws and regulations, or revising them, according to a process.
Please do submit proposals for change or removal of any laws or regulations which are about licences or permits of any kind.

Some 1,000 issues, regulations or laws are expected to processed by May 2019. The first batch of 370 of these can be viewed on the ‘Simple and Smart License’ site

Introduced in 1938, the VW Beetle has spent more than 80 years on Earth ferrying people to work, school, first dates, meet-ups, protests, job interviews, and so much more. However, all good things must come to an end eventually, and for the Beetle, that’s this month.
VW has announced production for the Beetle is officially over.

EU LEADERS CHOOSE FRANCE'S LAGARDE FOR ECB AFTER MARATHON SUMMIT
BRUSSELS, Jul 3, 2019
European Union leaders agreed on Tuesday to name France’s Christine Lagarde as the new head of the European Central Bank and sealed a deal on filling the EU’s other top four jobs after marathon talks that have exposed deep divisions in the bloc.

Three days of summit negotiations that at times looked close to collapse ended with a deal that now must be approved by the European Parliament and was immediately rejected by the socialist and green bloc in the assembly in Strasbourg.

APOLLO 11 FLIGHT MANUAL EXPECTED TO SELL FOR MILLIONS AT MOON LANDING ANNIVERSARY AUCTION
A flight manual from the Apollo 11 lunar module could fetch up to $9 million when it goes on sale next week as part of an auction marking the moon landing's 50th anniversary.
The letter-sized document, which contains procedural notes, checklists and flight records, features extensive handwritten notes by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin -- and would have sat between the two astronauts on the Eagle landing craft, according to auction house Christie's.

LAS VEGAS LETTING DRIVERS PAY PARKING TICKETS WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES DONATION
The Las Vegas City Council has created a brilliant way for people with parking tickets to pay them off while assisting public schools.
The city council unanimously voted to allow parking tickets issued from June 19 to July 19, to be paid with school supplies, according to a press release. The supplies must be new, unwrapped and cost the same or more than the fine.
