9 states where the rules for voting have been changed or challenged ahead of 2020 (NBC News). Very useful overview from Omar Abdel-Baqui that helps reveal to audiences how different the rules of the game can change depending where one lives.

AP Exclusive: New election systems use vulnerable software (AP). A new standard is needed: “An Associated Press analysis has found that like many counties in Pennsylvania, the vast majority of 10,000 election jurisdictions nationwide use Windows 7 or an older operating system to create ballots, program voting machines, tally votes and report counts.” Microsoft will stop offering technical support for Windows 7 early next year. Blue Valley mobile park left off Boise voting rolls for five years (Idaho Press). The growing Idaho city annexed this community but never gave them the freedom to vote. Makes you wonder if this neglect would have happened if the city had annexed a wealthier neighborhood.
