Great Turnout For Candidates
The General Gomez center was SRO for our Candidates Forum last Friday.  Over 100 activists from Auburn and beyond braved the heat and Auburn's Cruise Night to hear our CD1 and CD4 candidates.  Make sure you're informed, and start working for the candidate(s) of your choice!  Follow the Indivisible Facebook page for the latest, and go to the candidate's web site to volunteer:

Local Climate Action!

We have two important local events tomorrow, Tuesday, July 16th:

Get up early!  At 7:00 AM: Ken Moore of Citizens Climate Lobby addresses the "Meddlers" forum. He needs your support at this ultra-conservative group. Rose Room (downstairs), Auburn City Hall.

Then at 5:30 PM: With Placer County supervisor Jim Holmes: "Paris to Pittsburgh", an inspiring film about grassroots work to combat climate change.  Free dinner included!  First Congregational Church, 710 Auburn Ravine Road.
Banners Return

This Friday July 19 we will be back on the overpasses.  Weather looks good: high of 88 degrees.  (Water, hats and sunscreen.)  So much has happened, it will be interesting to choose the message we want to give priority.  But that seems to be true almost every time we gather, right?

3:30 at Scott's to assemble banners.  5:00 at the park at the base of Christian Valley Road to divvy up for displaying our work.

Text or e-mail Al for further information: 530-305-8258 or frankdu99@yahoo.com.

Once again, it's time for us to tell the other side of the story.  Please join us!
Lights for Liberty in Auburn

Auburn joined thousands of communities across the nation on Friday to demand an end to the inhumane treatment of asylum seekers at our southern border.  Thanks to everyone who came out to support this important effort!
AD 1 Special Election

Yes - another one.  August 27th is the date, and Elizabeth Betancourt is the Democrat running for this seat.  Check out her Facebook page here.  Contact her ASAP if you can help by volunteering or hosting a house party.  We need to be sure there is a Democrat on the general election for this seat!
