This is my very first e-newsletter! Exciting! And a tiny bit nerve-racking too!

Firstly, thank you so much for subscribing! I'm going to try and send something out once a month to you, just to give you an update. If I've blogged, I might share that.

Currently, what I hope to be book 1 of my Kittiwake Cove series is with my agent, and I hope to get edits back shortly. In the meantime, I've started writing book 2 which will be set at Christmas. I know! This weather and I'm trying to think of Christmassy things... (and my agent wants snow!) and it's the last thing I like to think about in July and August, if truth be told.

I like writing summer and sunshine, but I have some fun things planned for book 2. I just need to work out the conflict between the hero and the heroine. At the moment, he's just annoyed her. Big time - at 3000 words in.

However, I think this next book is going to be equally as fun to write, as I revisit old characters (mainly Joe, and a little of Noah) in this second book of the series.

On the 16th July, I had great fun meeting Jane Dare who runs a pop up boutique in Claverham. I've decided this is what I want my heroine to do, as it will fit nicely with the plot I've got planned.

So writing, is always about sitting at a desk. Although getting those words down are important. The research can be fun too!

Of course, I had to buy some outfits. And we've organised a pop up boutique at my home at the end of August, to further my research.

Next newsletter, I'll tell you a little about the first book, and the research I had to undergo for that book. The hardship... tasting cocktails. I know!

Keep reading the books. You make us authors happy!

Love

A bit about me:

As Teresa F Morgan I write commercial women's fiction.

I originate from Surrey but now live by the sea, in Weston-super-Mare with my two sons and a budgie called Rio.

Our family holidays in Cornwall have lead to the scenic Cornish coastline and the city of Bristol being the back drop for my novels.

I'm at my happiest baking cakes (if only I had more time), putting proper home cooked dinners on the table (whether the kids eat them or not), reading a good book, or sitting at my PC emptying my thoughts onto the screen.

I also have an obsession for superheroes!

I love writing contemporary romance, stories with a touch of escapism and creating heroes readers will fall in love with.
