Transforming dementia services, care and support conference

This Government Events conference takes place on the 26 of September 2019 in Central Manchester.

There are an estimated 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia.  This figure is set to double over the next 30 years, posing a serious challenge to the NHS and the social care system. Successive governments have aimed to tackle the problem. This event engages with the final stage of the Challenge on Dementia 2020, launched in 2015 by David Cameron.

Keynote speakers include Alistair Burns, National Clinical Director for Dementia, NHS England.
