Dear Friend,

There is no better time to relax than in the summer. In fact, research suggests that taking a break from your usual life and schedule to travel and relax is required to keep yourself healthy and productive in the long run.

No matter who you are, taking some time away from your work and school life can provide some well-rounded benefits that include reducing stress, boosting creativity, improving focus, and developing family bonds. This includes taking time for yourself.

I encourage you to take the remainder of these summer months to relax. To help you on your journey, I have partnered with HealthJourneys to offer you one month of FREE guided imagery and meditation. Simply register here, download the app at the Apple app store or Google Play and use the promo code JONAS30.

Guided imagery is a kind of meditation that leads a person’s imagination into a particular state by describing a scene or place and invoking all of the senses. It is frequently used to address symptoms related to chronic health concerns, improve performance in sports, and invoke a relaxation response in the body.

In the last 20 years, more and more literature is being published exploring and confirming the positive impact guided imagery has on certain conditions.

Guided imagery can be used alongside any conventional treatments you are receiving, but it is not meant to take the place of proven conventional treatment. I have seen a lot of patients experience success in using guided imagery and I hope you do too!

Be well.
