Ja asiaan; superkivat ilmaisfestarimme Beats and Greens alkaa tänään – kannattaa todella saapua katsastamaan.

A quick August hello and a showcase of what's happening with Dodo these days. We've been busy gardening (and being in the news :)), but newsletters will drop in your inboxes more regularly in the fall again. So, our free super festival Beats and Greens happens this weekend – and it's very much worth checking.

2018 perustettu kestävä kaupunkikulttuurifestivaali Pasilan vanhojen veturitallien avoimella kasvihuoneella, Kääntöpöydällä, saa nyt jatkoa! Vuoden teemaksi on valittu ‘kestävä tanssi’. Viikonloppu on täynnä tanssitunteja, leffoja, livemusiikkia ja DJ-settejä. Ilmainen sisäänpääsy.

The 2018 established sustainable urban culture festival at Pasila old railyard’s garden Turntable will now continue! The theme of this year is ‘sustainable dance’. The weekend is filled with open dance classes, outdoor cinema, live music and DJ sets. Free entrance.

Jostain se on aloitettava. Liikkuvaa kasvihuonetta on rakenneltu viikko, ja tuloksia voi jo tulla ihastelemaan.

Tapahtuman pääkieli on englanti, mutta myös suomea voidaan puhua tarvittaessa.

Mobile Greenhouse construction week has continued until today Friday.

The workshop week ends in Dodo's free Beats & Greens urban culture festival at Kääntöpöytä, where the project will be used for the first time. It will be also used next year as part of Dodo's anniversary year Green Light urban gardening exhibition organized together with Helsinki City Museum.

Fast fashion is out of style! Let's recycle our clothes and fix them when needed. Join us for a tasty urban dinner followed by a clothing swap and clothing repair workshop. Bring clothing to swap, mend or up-cycle (modify or turn into something else completely). We will provide some sewing supplies but please also bring your own needles, thread and scissors. If you have fabric that you don't need or want, bring that too! Maybe it will be the perfect part of someone else's mended or up-cycled clothing item. Any clothing that doesn't find a new home will be donated.
