What's Happening

Baptism: We will be having our Baptism service on the 25th of August. We would love for you to join us. If you haven't been baptized and would like to be or if you would like to learn more there will be a class held to help you understand what baptism means. We hope to see you there! It will be after church NEXT WEEK, August 18th in the parlor for one hour.

We need YOU to help in Sunday School this year!

We are still looking for twelve more teachers/assistants to help make our program work.

All classrooms (preschool, K-1, 2-3 and 4-5) still have available slots.

Join us THIS SUNDAY, the 11th for a visit from the Billings. Paul and Melanie Billings are committed to long term ministry in the Muslim world. For the past several years they (and their five children) have been living in Amman, Jordan, and planting a church there. The Billings will share during our Sunday service and then afterward join us in the Fellowship Hall for a more in-depth update on their ministry and a time of Q and A.

Women's Bible Studies: It is that time of year to consider joining in a study where you can be in God’s word, grow closer to Him, and encourage other women. Our inductive Bible study approach helps you to go deeper in study of Scripture and engage God’s Word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart. Our studies will start the week of September 9th and go through the week of June 2nd with breaks for holidays and school vacations. We have 2 studies to choose from:

God's Heart for His Remnant - A study of Isaiah 1-39 on Mondays or Thursdays
Called to Abide - A study of 1 John, 2 John and 3 John on Tuesdays

Lobby registration will begin this Sunday, August 11th. The cost will be $10 for the year with scholarships available.

Mid Vermont Christian School (MVCS) seeks a dynamic 5th/6th multi-grade teacher with demonstrated ability to work successfully with a range of students. The ideal candidate will be versed in research-based practices and will seek to become part of our learning community. MVCS places the student at the center of learning with various instructional techniques that meet the needs and capabilities of all students. MVCS places a high value on communication with parents as we seek to partner with them as they raise their children. Bachelor's degree and experience with upper elementary school students preferred.
