EMAIL PHISHING + FAKE GMAIL ACCOUNTS
Did you receive an email this week that appears to be a Gmail message from our Rector, Fr. Brad Whitaker, asking you to take some kind of action – click a link, purchase gift cards, or a simple question – like this?

Watch out – it is a form of email phishing. Scammers are targeting St. Paul's by creating multiple fake Gmail accounts posing as our Rector, asking for money or gift cards. We have reported these fake accounts to Google -- please do not reply to these emails or click any included links.

AUGUST 4 - AUGUST 11
FAMILY PROMISE MINISTRY

Sign Up Now! St. Paul’s Episcopal Church hosts Family Promise, a ministry of hospitality to unhoused families with children, four times each year. Our next week of Family Promise begins this Sunday, and there are still several volunteer opportunities to support these families. Please sign up online by clicking here (there is no sign up board at St. Paul's) -- we still need a Greeter, Overnight Host, and Evening Activities.

Also, not on the online sign up are these tasks (which St. Paul’s usually fills): 1 more snack person, and Sunday, Aug. 11, at 7 a.m., a trailer puller and van driver to help pack up and take things to the next church. Please contact Shannon Mowrer to volunteer.

This Sunday, August 4, we are going to move the beds in and set up the rooms at 10:00, after Summer Special Worship. Please plan to help after that service and before the 10:30 service if you can.

If you have any questions or need any assistance signing up, please contact Shannon Mowrer: shanbmowr@comcast.net or 423-827-4432.

FOYER DINNER GROUPS ARE BACK!
St. Paul’s Foyer Dinner Groups are a fun and easy way to meet other parishioners and enjoy their company in an informal home setting! Foyer Dinner Groups will be small groups of roughly 8 parishioners who meet throughout the year for simple meals and conversation. There is no formal agenda, nor any assignment beyond starting the meal with prayer. Foyer Dinner Groups typically take place in the home of group members and meals are intended to be simple and shared. Groups will be (re)formed each year and are made up of singles, couples, young parishioners, retirees, etc. To sign up, please contact Claire Broome in the Church Office by September 8: cbroome@stpaulschatt.org.
