Yellow car madness

Somebody taught my daughter a silly driving game called ‘Yellow Car.’ (probably the ex-wife)

It’s a driving game.  You play it while in the car.

But it’s not too entertaining for me.

You see, in the game, each time you see a yellow vehicle, you’re supposed to yell ‘Yellow Car’ or ‘Truck’ or whatever and then you punch another person in the car.

At first it was cute.

Now it’s a driving hazard.

Because it’s distracting for me when my daughter randomly hits me while I’m driving the car.

What has happened is an undesirable change in the driving culture of my family.

It’s kind of like the corporate culture in a business.

Something that was once cute can become annoying and then even threaten profits.

Sometimes these issues exist within businesses that we are planning to buy and there needs to be a change in the culture.

It’s one of the reasons that I interviewed Mike Ganino, a corporate culture expert, for the Business Buyer Adventure group coaching program.

Each month I have another special expert give an interview about small business management or issues concerning the transaction.

Mike is our September guest and there are already 15 other such interviews in the group archive for you to enjoy.

Check out the group.  It’s step #3 over at https://www.BusinessBuyerAdvantage.com

Whoa! A yellow garbage truck just drove by, where is Claire?

Cheers

Dave
