SFNPCC July 2019 Scavenger - Photo Submission

Hi everyone! I want to thank everyone who participated in this past weekend's Scavenger Hunt. I don't know about you, but I had a great time. I love these little challenges. But... like you sometimes hear in Hollywood, it's difficult working with children and animals. Don't we know it! How many of YOU had a tough time finding those Burrowing Owls?! LOL

Anyway, if some of you participated but forgot to RSVP, please let me know now. Just reply to this email and let me know you participated. I'll be setting up Dropbox folders with each of your names for you to add your images. I'll set up the ones who did RSVP first, and add any who let me know later. You have till Aug. 27th to process and add your images to the folders. Be sure to rename your files to coincide with the rules that were included with the clues.

And I'd like to thank Robert and Hugh for a great competition. The clues weren't easy, but they were research-able and, except for the working with animals thing, relatively easy to find. Thanks again for all of your hard work!

This is going to be fun! Clues for the event were handed out at our July 11th meeting. We did NOT hand out the rules. Click HERE for a PDF of both the clues and rules (2 pages).

For our members who have not participated in any previous scavenger hunts, this is how it works. You will need to review and research the clues. Then on that day, you will head out to the locations (or in search of the locations), and try to take the best most creative images you possibly can. Don't just use the clues as a checklist and mark each one off. Get creative! When the event is over you will process them according to the rules set forth, and then upload them to the Dropbox folder by the deadline given. The images will be judged by our panel of anonymous judges, and winners will be announced at the September meeting. It's really a lot of fun. Hope everyone can participate!
