June Monthly Round-Up

Tip of the Month

Discover Local Veteran Stories to Enhance Your Commentary

During our tours, we spend a lot of time honoring veteran stories.  Is there a local memorial dedicated to those in your community that have served? Is there a battlefield close to you that you can explore? These opportunities can help you personalize experiences for your groups and your connection with your commentary.

Featured Resource

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund site is an amazing resource about the wall, the era, and those who served.  Many times students have studied about the wall or a local hero from their area.  The virtual wall of faces is a way to also make that connection.  They also have the largest online resource for items that were left behind at the wall.  Have you heard about wall magic? Read some amazing stories of unconventional ways the wall has helped bring people together and provide healing and comfort.

Katelyn Lesk reviewed Scholastica Travel Inc. — 5 star

Scholastica Travel delivers with the top-notch skill and expertise that would be expected from a large organization as well as the true care of a small, family-owned business. Every interaction I've had with the company has been so professional and they also go the extra mile to show that they care. They make things so easy (and fun!) for their travelers. I would give them my highest recommendation!
