We have a great opportunity for anyone that has a heart for young people. God has blessed us with the opportunity to go into the schools with a curriculum called “Free2BMe” that helps young people make good decisions. We know that our young people are bombarded with making so many decisions. The superintendents of three school districts have invited us to spend a week with their students in helping them with peer pressure, learning their personality and love language, the dangers of pornography, sexting, STD’s and helping them to know that they each have a purpose and are unique and capable of making the right decision. We go into Brazoswood HS, Brazosport HS, Columbia/Brazoria HS, Columbia/Brazoria JH, and Sweeny HS. The administrative, teachers and students have been such a joy to work with. So, in order for this to run smooth we need volunteers to help go into these schools for one week and teach or run a PowerPoint on the computer. If you are at all interested in more information and what this looks like there will be a training on Wednesday, August 21 from 9:00-2:00 at the Pregnancy Help Center. Jackie will be going over each day as if you were the students so that you will get a good look at what is presented. Lunch will be provided. All you would need to do is register by emailing the PHC ( jackie@pregnancyhelpcenter.org) or call (979.297.3622) and get your name on the list. This is such a rewarding time and we would love for you to be a part of it!
