CBBG has recently purchased a LEICA P50 LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) portable 3-D Terrestrial Laser scanning system. The system offers an accuracy of 1.2 mm over a range of 270 m and 3 mm at distances of up to 1 km. 
 
A Leica technical representative will provide training on the system at the CBBG Field Site on the Polytechnic Campus.  As the date approaches, we will send out another email asking you to let us know if you plan to attend the training.

Terry Conklin, project coordinator for Pacific Northwest National Laboratories (PNNL) in Richland, WA, will be coming to ASU for an information session. PNNL is one of the United States Department of Energy national laboratories, and is managed by the DOE's Office of Science. 

Terry will be providing some more information about the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Graduate Fellowship Program (NGFP), which is a one-year, salaried post-graduate fellowship focused on national security missions.
