In City of Bend News....
Update on Plastic Bag Ordinance
On July 17, City Councilors voted to repeal the City law to comply with the State law. The repeal helps avoid confusion between the City ordinance and State law, while also preventing the use of more types of single-use plastic bags than City ordinance.
Informational materials and enforcement will become projects of the state government.
The City is still supportive of limiting single-use bags and encourages you to “Bring your bag, Bend!”
