Dear Churchillian,
We are delighted to announce that bookings are now open for our 2019 Association Weekend, where we invite all Churchill College members to join us for a weekend programme of events, including our popular Association Dinner.
Tickets
Prices include wine or soft drinks with your meal.
- Standard dinner ticket: £39
- Dinner tickets for alumni who matriculated after 1994: £29
- Tickets for current MCR & JCR members: £19
Programme
In addition to the chance to dine with old friends or make new ones, an exciting programme of events for Churchillians and their guests include:
- Join us on Friday evening to listen to alumni and architects of our brand new Graduate Housing (and the older 'Pepperpots'), Simon Tucker (U&G86) and Priscilla Fernandes (U04), discuss 'Designing from Memory', followed by a Q&A chaired by current Director of Studies for Architecture, Dr Minna Sunikka-Blank.
- Use your dining rights to enjoy a light supper with wine tasting on the Friday night in the Fellows’ Dining Room, or dine at High Table.
- On Saturday morning hear our exciting panel consultation exploring how emerging technologies are leading to a new industrial revolution. Leading engineers in their field look at the implications, and we ask how does the College respond?
- On Saturday afternoon, hear Professor Bjarne Stroustrup, G75, past Overseas Fellow, Honorary Fellow and creator of C++, give a fascinating insight into the creation and development of a programming language.
- Our after-dinner speaker is cultural historian, alumnus and Extraordinary Fellow Sir Christopher Frayling (U&G65).
- Take a tour of the Møller Centre and enjoy a view over Cambridge from the Tower.
- Visit the peaceful Chapel at Churchill College on Sunday morning for an ecumenical service.
