• 6 - Ice Cream Social
  3:30-4:30 p.m., Russell House Ballroom C
   All division employees are invited to beat the heat with an ice cream treat at the annual Ice Cream Social. Join your colleagues for an end-of-summer snack and chat about what you did on your vacation and what you're most looking forward to during the upcoming semester.
   
• 13 - New Graduate Assistant and Intern Orientation 
  8:30 a.m.-noon, Hollings Library Program Room (accessed through Thomas Cooper Library)
  All new graduate assistants and interns within the division, regardless of program of study, are invited. New GA and Intern Orientation will be a great time for graduate assistants and interns to create connections across the division and learn about professional development opportunities available to them through Student Affairs and Academic Support. Registration is required.

• Sept. 6 - Division Meeting: Dr. Dennis Pruitt
  8:30-10 a.m., Russell House Ballroom
  Dr. Dennis Pruitt, vice president for student affairs, will give his annual update on the division and trends and issues influencing our work. Coffee will be served beginning at 8 a.m.
   
• Sept. 10 - New Employee Orientation
  8:30 a.m.-noon, Hollings Library Program Room (accessed through Thomas Cooper Library)
  New Employee Orientation will be a time for new employees to create connections across the division, chat with the division’s associate vice presidents and learn about professional development opportunities available to them through Student Affairs and Academic Support. Registration is required.
