Perkasie Park To Hold Annual Founders Day Celebration On August 3, 2019
The privately owned Historic Perkasie Park Camp Meeting will open its Victorian grounds and cottages once again to the public this August, as the Association celebrates its 137th year with its seventh annual Founders Day event.
The free event is from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., rain or shine, on August 3, 2019. Local residents may attend, but parking is very limited, so visitors are asked to park on Ninth Street if able to do so.
Looking for an easy way to support our shelter residents? We are in need of cleaning supplies! Check out our Wish List for specific items we need. NOTE: Zucchini must be no larger than a large cucumber or they are not accepted. Please watch the size you are donating.

SCHOOL BAG DISTRIBUTION DAY

from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm School bags and supplies will also be available
during client hours until the Saturday before Labor Day.
CLIENTS MUST BE REGISTERED AS PANTRY CLIENTS
NO LATER THAN AUGUST 16TH
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SCHOOL BAGS FOR CHILDREN. ONLY CUSTODIAL PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOOL BAGS. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PRESENT IDENTIFICATION FOR CHILDREN.
NOT EVERY CHILD WILL RECEIVE A SCHOOL BAG AS WE ARE LIMITED TO ITEMS THAT ARE DONATED. ALL SCHOOL BAGS ARE FIRST COME/FIRST SERVED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
IF SUPPLIES ARE LEFT OVER WE WILL PUT THEM OUT DURING THE WEEK FOR PARENTS WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO GET HERE DURING DISTRIBUTION.
WE ARE IN NEED OF DONATIONS OF ALL TYPES OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR GRADES 1-12. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! LAST YEAR WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE FILLED SCHOOL BAGS FOR MORE THAN 300 CHILDREN!
YOU CAN VISIT YOUR LOCAL OFFICE SUPPLY STORE FOR GRADE SPECIFIC LISTS OF SUPPLIES. * PLEASE NOTE: WE MUST RECEIVE DONATIONS OF SCHOOL BAGS AND SUPPLIES NO LATER THAN MONDAY, AUGUST 12. 2018 IN ORDER TO GIVE VOLUNTEERS TIME TO ORGANIZE SUPPLIES AND FILL BAGS.

Pennridge school district tax bills were mailed out July 1, 2019 and are due no later than August 31st to be accepted at discount rate.
Tax collection hours (at 432 Elephant Road):
Mondays, August 19th and 26th: 5 – 6 pm
Thursdays, August 22nd and 29th: 5 – 6 pm
Saturdays, August 24th and 31st: 9 – 11 am
Thursday, October 31st: 5 – 6 pm
