In celebration of San Diego’s Pride Month, the California Electric Transportation Coalition (CalETC) and the Electric Transportation Community Development Corporation are hosting a special EV test drive event for the LGBT community in San Diego to share the excitement of driving electric.

For every test drive taken, CalETC will donate $10 to the San Diego LGBT Community Center. 

At the event, California Assemblymember Todd Gloria, along with City of San Diego Councilmember Chris Ward, will award a member of the LGBT
 community with the CalETC Green Megaphone Award for their decade of work helping to grow EV adoption in San Diego. Assemblymmember Gloria and Senator Toni Atkins were previous recipients of the award. 

A reception will follow at the Hillcrest Brewing Company with a performance by the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus.
