After-School and Fall Recreation Activities, This Week's Free Concert in the Park, and Featured Summer Camps

Registration for Fall Activities Starts August 15!

Are you ready for summer to be over? We're not either, but we are definitely excited about the amazing recreation activities we have lined up for you this fall.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, and you can start planning now by visiting sbparksandrec.org/activities.

Featured Activities

Introduction to Pickleball

Ages 18 and up

This class is a chance to get out and play with others who are either new to the game or want some extra time learning skills and scoring. Your coach will take you through the basic skill sets as well as teach you the rules of the game.

Mondays from 12:00–1:15 p.m., starting September 9 and October 21. $112–$124.

East Beach Volleyball League

Ages 18 and up

Get in on our popular spring and summer beach volleyball leagues for every skill level and playing experience. Divisions include co-ed, men’s, and women’s doubles (AA, A, or B). League teams play two matches per night on East Beach volleyball courts. Eight-week season.

Men's and Women's Doubles: Mondays from 5:30–8:00 p.m., starting August 19. $110 per team.
