Arthur Kitching (1912-1981)

Born in Sheffield, Arthur Kitching was a largely autodidactic artist, producing impressions for local authorities before continuing as a curator and artist. These colourful dynamic nude studies are both gestural and elegant.

Marcus Algernon Adams (1875-1959)

Predominantly in watercolour, this impressionistic collection of miniature works by Marcus Adams includes coastal scenes and English countryside landscapes. His skill in the medium is evident in his light touch, and many of the works have been grouped into curated selections.
