Student Schedules
Work on student schedules has been underway since the latter part of July. Families will be able to access schedules via Infinite Campus by August 15. Schedules will also be made available during school orientations the week of August 26.
Transportation
- IMPORTANT: Please be on the lookout for the UMA transportation survey (to be sent in early August). This survey will allow us to best accommodate the transportation needs of your child.
- Information regarding school bus stops and routes will be sent in late August (as routes need to be developed by the bus company).
Parking Options for Student Drivers
If your child drives and needs to park long-term for the year (or if a family wishes to have ongoing access to a parking lot for St. Paul in general), contracts may be obtained with Municipal Ramp 7A (next to the Scientology building). You can access the parking contracts here. The monthly rate will show up as $140, however, when you put your “employer” down as Upper Mississippi Academy, the rate will adjust to $110 during the application process. To receive this rate, the contract must be for automatic payment each month.
UMA Teams at Work
A Wellness Committee made up of parents and staff has started to review UMA’s wellness policy and is working on crafting a wellness & health vision for the future. Contact Arslan Aziz if you are interested in being a part of this group.
Dates & Reminders
- School starts September 3, 2019
- Student orientations will be the week of August 26. An email with dates and times by grade level will be shared by August 7.
