It's been such a thrill to see how much you love my newest pattern, Rose! I thought it would be fun to check in (from the craziness of summer with three kids) to share some of the fantastic versions you've been making and point you to some new posts on the blog; we've been slowly working on an unofficial "Rose fabrics" blog series that might be useful to you.
Rose has three different lengths, so it's an all-season pattern workhorse, but as you can see from the gorgeous pink Rose Pants for Cassie (shown above), when this pattern is sewn up in a flowy fabric and delicate color, they're absolutely dreamy for summertime.
To beat the heat, a pair of Rose shorts is just the ticket, and summer doesn't seem to be showing any signs of quitting soon.
You have been making and posting so many amazing Rose shorts with the #mbrrose tag! Here are just a handful of the many that caught my eye this spring and summer.

Margaret's (top left) stepmom @nursebean82 posted all about their instructive sewing experience here.
Styled with a woven blouse, partially- or fully-tucked like @sew_danielle (top right) and @sarahissewcrafty (bottom left).
@jessamyb (bottom right) paired her Rose shorts with her handknit Rift Tee for a fantastic summer outfit.

Work time has been scarce for me this summer, but I've had a few hours here and there, so I've started shooting photos for a Rose sewalong I'm planning for the fall. Any interest in sewing along? Any questions about sewing Rose (or pants!) you'd like me to answer? Hit reply and let me know.
