It's a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and, of course, classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is a joyous communal experience and raises awareness for cats in need.

Make your way to the heart of Bricktown this weekend, for the annual Bricktown Reggae Fest. This free all ages event features a lineup of the area's best Reggae bands, delicious Caribbean food and ice cold beer.

PECHA KUCHA NIGHT | VOL. 12

PechaKucha is an evening of quick presentations from a handful of creative individuals doing great things in Oklahoma! They use a 20x20 format of 20 slides shown at 20 seconds each. It's a fun, fast way to enjoy about cool talks. Vol. 12 is happening on Wednesday, August 7th and it's a special ULI-powered event! All of the speakers are ULI members who'll share about urban design, placemaking, development, and any local passion they have! The event is free with a suggested donation of $5.

Join Skyline Urban Ministry for An Evening with Ron Hall on August 9th at The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The proceeds from this evening will go toward providing clothing, food and eye care to those who live in the shadows of Oklahoma City's skyline. Their goal for this event is to raise $100,000, 50% of all proceeds above that amount will be dedicated for Outreach to the Homeless.

Take the family to Floating Films on Saturdays in August at RIVERSPORT Rapids! The movies begin at dusk and you must be ages 8+ to float on the water.

Floating Films at RIVERSPORT Rapids provides a fun evening for the entire family. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and watch the film for free from the banks of the lower pond or rent a tube or raft, $10 per person, for the full Floating Film experience! Rentals are available the day of the Floating Film at Guest Services in the McClendon Whitewater Center.

DEEP DEUCE DIRECTOR'S CUT

Deep Deuce Director’s Cut is returning for its second year on Friday, September 6th at 8:00pm with the movie starting at 8:30pm. This year’s event will celebrate one of the most epic tales of true love and miracles with a showing of the 1987 film, The Princess Bride (PG)! Guests are invited to lace up their boots, draw their swords, and come dressed as their favorite character for the outdoor movie screening.

There will be a photo booth, movie snacks, and drinks for all to enjoy. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs for the movie, which begins at 8:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all ages. Learn more and RSVP here.
INDEPENDENT SHOPKEEPERS ASSOCIATION

Join the newly formed organization, ISA, in their efforts to make Oklahoma's independent shopkeeper community stronger. They've opened pledges up for you to be a founding member of the Independent Shopkeepers Association! Their goal is to provide a platform for shopkeepers to unite and join forces to achieve what can’t be done individually. They believe our community is stronger and our culture richer when our local retail scene is thriving.
