Bike Fun Students & Friends Ride & Picnic
Saturday, August 3rd, 10am-2pm
As a thank you to all my students and friends of Bike Fun, I'm holding the first-ever Bike Fun "company picnic". We'll be at Shelby Park in East Nashville at Lake View Shelter #1, not far from the Drippy Bird, and will enjoy a short bike ride, bicycle safety checks, and a few giveaways as well.
If you'd like to join us - and especially if you want something to eat! - please RSVP to kj@nashvillebikefun.com by Friday, August 2nd so I can get enough food! Check out the event details here. Look for the shelter with the bicycle wheels on it!
(Don't have a bike? Come and hang out anyway. We'll have bocce ball and frisbees, too!)

Choose Your Own Disaster
Saturday, August 24th, 9am - 11:30am
Riders age 12 to 112 are invited to master disaster with KJ! Choose Your Own Disaster is a ride geared towards building on the road confidence with minor mechanical complications. A small group of riders will be led by KJ through a series of "disasters" during a 5 mile bike ride. Topics covered can include fixing a flat, dealing with chains and cadence, ride preparation, and general mechanical understanding. This mobile class will last about 2 1/2 hours. See event details and register here. Great for returning riders, beginning commuters, and beginning riders. You will need your own bicycle for this ride.
