Appointment of County Youth Commissioner

A unique opportunity has arisen in the county when the role of County Youth Commissioner becomes vacant on 28 September 2019.
 
Dan Manciocchi, the current CYC, will stand down at the County AGM to turn his full attention to his new role as a Group Scout Leader.
 
The appointment is open to anyone between the age of 18 and 25yrs on appointment.  This means that provided that the successful person is under twenty fine years of age on 28 September, then they can serve for the full three-year term.
 
The CYC role is unique in Northamptonshire, in that not only does the role have a pivotal influence on youth shaped Scouting, but also because the individual becomes a full and unrestricted member of the Senior Management Team.  This gives unprecedented access to all aspects of the management of a Scout County.
