Stitches Midwest!

But you can find a special page on our website for Wuthering Heights preorders and Lit Society subscriptions.

Hi friends! Although our shop is closed while we're here at Stitches Midwest, we have set up a special page for Wuthering Heights preorders and for our new subscription option.  So many of you have reached out about subscribing mid-year and with a month to month payment option that we figured out a way to make that work.  So now you can get all the perks and a subscriber's discount without waiting till January or paying for the entire year up front!

Speaking of Lit Society - we took the two colorways we created for Pride and Prejudice: Pemberley Polluted and On Horseback in the Rain and added colorways inspired by Lizzie, Darcy, Jane and Bingley to create a P&P Collection. We brought minis and full sized skeins to Stitches with us and any left over will be in our next shop update.

Also, for quite some time we've been trying to come up with the perfect name for our OOAK (one of a kind) colorways.  We've been calling them "Happy Accidents" but this just didn't fit.  Most of these colorways are from leftover bits of dye layered on session after session plus a smattering of speckles.  Or colorways we thought we'd love, but didn't quite make the cut, so they've been overdyed once or twice adding so much depth to the color.  These aren't accidents.  They're the result of tenacious effort to make them into something beautiful.  When I was growing up one of my mom's mottos was: Make it Work!  That's right, before there was Tim Gunn, there was Karin Ockerman.  And as we talked about what made these skeins special I realized this was the right name for these beauties.  So keep your eyes peeled, occasionally you'll see some very special skeins with this name and you'll know they're the result of extra effort and an ode to makers, and the way we make it work.

If you're coming to Stitches be sure to come by booth 932 and say hello!  We'll show you how to join the stitches scavenger hunt - a big group of makers who are offering amazing prizes for playing an easy scavenger hunt game.  Yay!

As always, thanks for your support.  You guys make my fiber dreams come true!
