Notices

  • Attention Grade 8 and 9 parents: due to congestion at peak times at school, we kindly remind you to please pick up your daughters from the back of the school. The front of the school is reserved only for senior pick up.
  • Please note that Thursday 8 August is a staff development day.  This day has been built into the academic planning for the term and is designed to provide professional development for our staff and a rest opportunity for our learners.  

Don't miss “12 Angry Jurors”, currently running in the Memorial Hall at Rondebosch Boys' High School (31 July - 3 August 2019). Tickets are available on Quicket here or from the RGHS Marketing Office. Cash and Snapscan facilities are available.

Grade 12 History learners win awards for the White Rose Competition

The Grade 12 History Class of 2019 maintained the department’s tradition of excellence when their creative responses were acknowledged at the Award Ceremony held at the Holocaust and Genocide Centre on Thursday 25 July. Such was the high quality of their work that Victoria King (pictured), Simthandile Witbooi, Lauren Gericke, Erica Whittal and Jordan Selous were asked to read their written pieces at the ceremony. All 32 of our participants received certificates for their high quality entries and some won awards. Read more...

Debating Update


Both the Junior and Senior Rustenburg Debating teams performed well at the Western Cape Debating Championships held at UCT this past weekend (27-28 July). The Seniors progressed to the quarter finals held on Sunday against Wynberg Girls’ High School.

The 2019 Golf Day has been booked for Friday the 6th September 2019 and this year will be held at the King David Mowbray Golf Course.
