2019 RWJF HP Fellows Alumni Gathering - Register Now!
|
|
This year, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellows program will be accepting nominations for two awards to be presented at the Alumni Gathering: The Lifetime Achievement Award and the Susie Nanney Culture of Health Champion.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 2008 to recognize outstanding alumni for notable and sustained accomplishments in health policy and a demonstrated commitment to service to others in their public and personal lives. Previous recipients were Oliver Fein, David Michaels, Karen Hein, Jo Ivey Boufford, Rita Redberg, Marie Michnich, and Charles “Chip” Rice.
The Susie Nanney Culture of Health Champion was established last year and is awarded to an alumnus for his/her commitment to advancing and promoting a culture of health for all. The award is named in honor of its first recipient, Susie Nanney (’16-’17), who embodied the spirit of equity in all of her work. Susie lost her life in a tragic vehicular crash just months after completing the RWJF Health Policy Fellowship. This award is an annual tribute to her character and impact.
The process, values, and criteria for the two awards can be found on the program website. Please consider nominating colleagues for these wonderful recognitions by September 1, 2019.
