Funding Opportunities

BOOST Cafe Funding Opportunities include Grants, Scholarships, Awards, and Contests sorted by category, amount, and grade level. Each opportunity includes the deadline to apply. 

Hidden Leaf Funding
Hidden Leaf provides grants to expand inner awareness within social change organizations in order to enhance the effectiveness of the progressive movement. Hidden Leaf provides funds to groups across the progressive spectrum addressing issues such as racial equity, climate justice, immigrants’ rights, health care reform, workers’ rights, and reproductive justice. The awareness practices currently used by grant recipients include contemplative meditation, deep listening and other interpersonal communication tools, work that helps align values and actions, politicized somatics, personal ecology, and improved wellness, and organizational sustainability practices.
 
Deadline to Apply: September 1st
 
The Institutional Challenge Grant
The Institutional Challenge Grant encourages university-based research institutes, schools, and centers to build sustained research-practice partnerships with public agencies or nonprofit organizations in order to reduce inequality in youth outcomes. To do so, research institutions will need to shift their policies and practices to value collaborative research. They will also need to build the capacity of researchers to produce relevant work and the capacity of agency and nonprofit partners to use research.
 
Deadline to Apply: September 6th  
 
Amgen Foundation Grants
The Amgen Foundation seeks to advance excellence in science education to inspire the next generation of innovators, and invest in strengthening communities where Amgen staff members live and work. The Foundation awards grants to local, regional, and international nonprofit organizations that are replicable, scalable and designed to have a lasting and meaningful effect in our communities. Grants should reflect Amgen's dedication to impacting lives in inspiring and innovative ways. Amgen Foundation grants range from $10,000 to multi-million dollar commitments.
