Practicing for 1st Grade

August 2019 Newsletter

At the close of summer, my granddaughter, Emily, summer camps are finally done so I have scheduled just a little bit more time with her until school starts next week. She is almost 6 and starting 1st grade. She is very excited about this and has been practicing reading throughout the summer. The lesson I take from this is that It always pays to be prepared. In peace of mind, and lack of stress.

The National Doll Festival in Nashville is over but what fun! I got to meet so many of you which allowed me to put name to face. It was also good to have my efforts validated and I thank you all for that.

I did come up with a new service to help enhance the show for sellers and buyers alike. See below for details.

Released during the Christmas season in 1937 Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first full-length animated feature in color and with sound.
