IN/SITU
Curated by Jacob Fabricius | Artistic Director, Kunsthal Aarhus
Installed within the expansive, vaulted architecture of Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, the 2019 program will feature large-scale sculpture, film, and site-specific works that represent a post human narrative, discussing issues surrounding gender, identity, and conditions of being. The hyper-presence of the body, or its conspicuous absence, is a theme that carries throughout each of the site-specific pieces on view.
