August Blessings from Unity Temple of Denver

Thank you for participating in the spiritual events that are made possible for you. No one grows in isolation and we pray to have a welcoming sanctuary and center for all. We are so happy to see you come through the door. Each person brings a smile. Thank you to all those who prepare and provide our wonderful fellowship time food that is so delicious. We are blessed by the incredible music – the talent and skills brought into our praise is breathtaking at times. We are thankful for your spiritual searching; and that it has brought you to Unity Temple of Denver. We honor your relationship with God as revealed in your self-assurance and mastery of new experiences. Thank you for the many ways you serve through your expectations and willingness. Our Board meetings are fun, productive and short- please consider if this is a good match for you. We serve God in every area of this ministry and God serves us in every area.

I give thanks today for the love of God in all its human expressions.
I bless everyone who has shared with me the divine love that never fails.
Our hearts are filled with anticipation of wonderful blessings. We look forward to experiencing God’s presence with us every moment as joy, as abundance, as wholeness.

Full Moon Sound Bath-Thursday, August 15
Crystal Bowls, Singing Plants, Drums and tuning forks! – something for everyone! 7:00-9:00p.m. $35./$25 for Unity Temple members. Facilitated by Teresa Helgeson. Wear comfortable clothing, bring mat and pillow for comfort and a friend to share this wonderful experience.

Sunday Movie: August 25, 3:00. Abraham and Ester Hicks DVD. Spiritual discussion, popcorn, drink and most easy chairs-$10. All are welcome. Iva Lou’s: 1617 Vine St., enter in alley.

Annual Pet Blessing and Picnic- September 15, 11:00
On our south lawn. Invite others for this amazing day of love, food and fellowship. Sign up pets soon- all pets are welcome. Use leash or cage for their protection and security. Sign up for the food you are bringing for the picnic portion of our day. This is always so much fun and a real experience for pet owners and their pets!
We give thanks in advance for everyone’s participation in an event that blesses the world.

Multi-Family Yard Sale:
We are collecting items now for our September 20 and 21 Yard Sale. Household, auto, work items, sport and art items all accepted. No clothing or books- thanks!
Please leave donations in the Yellow Room- 2^nd fl. Please sign up soon to help the days of our sale.

With parking at a premium please make efficient use of the spaces available and don’t forget there are
9 additional parking spaces in the lot north of Iva Lou’s home- enter in alley.
We also have additional parking for Sunday special music and our musicians in the driveway reached through our alley behind the church. Bike routes are available at bikestreets.com, we have a bike rack.

We are currently raising funds for a concrete slab and masonry upkeep on the north, south, and west sides of our building. Our maintenance fund has reached over $7,700.
Please consider giving above your usual tithe so we remain healthy financially. Thank you! There are special donation envelopes in our hymnal holders- when giving that extra pocket money be sure to write your name on the envelope for tax purposes. Of course, we accept checks of all sizes.

THANK OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS! If you are interested in serving on The Board, please let a current member know. Everyone is invited to our Board meetings. Our next meeting is Sunday,
August 18, at 1:00, 2^nd floor Conference Room. Jean Maguire, Gail Hamilton, Karen Dolan, Kellee Trautmann, Sharon Buchan and Iva Lou Baily.

Thank you everyone for your tithes and love offerings that make our ministry possible. We feel so blessed when we support others and serve God’s community. Thank you for your loving words of support and for being our message out in this big, wonderful, fantastic world.

Let yourself rest in the knowledge that a love greater than all ours combined is in charge and is leading us into a more marvelous expression. Never doubt God’s love and God’s protection, for it is the Truth about you, and about those you love and care for.
