The Community Media Center of Marin is turning 10 years old this year! Celebrate with us on Sunday, September 8 from 3 - 5 PM at our block party at 819 A Street in San Rafael. We will be hosting an open house with live music, a food truck, fun photo opps, and cool demonstrations. If you've never visited CMCM, this is the perfect time to drop in, say hello, and learn about all the great work that happens here.

CMCM's 10th Anniversary Celebration Raffle is Underway!
Enter our exciting raffle fundraiser for a chance to win fabulous prizes at Marin TV's 10th Anniversary Block Party! Tickets can be purchased at 819 A Street in San Rafael on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2 - 9 PM; Fridays and Saturdays from 11 AM - 6 PM. A year-long CMCM membership is included with the purchase of two or more tickets.
Raffle winners will be announced at our 10th Anniversary Celebration Block Party on Sunday, September 8 from 3 - 5 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Winners will also be notified via email after the event.

CMCM Presents: ERNESTO SANCHEZ
The imaginative work of Pt. Reyes-based artist Ernesto Sanchez will be featured in CMCM's Georgia Annwell Gallery space from September 6 - 27. Sanchez’s work is a collection of mixed media and multicultural pieces, including masks, sculptures, altars, mosaics, ceramics, and more. His style incorporates influences from his southern California roots, Mexican-American upbringing, and artistic studies in Asia, Indonesia, and Latin America.
Exhibit Reception: Friday, September 13 from 6 - 8 PM
Visit with the artist and enjoy delicious refreshments while viewing a curated collection of old and new pieces from Sanchez's body of work. Free Admission.
The FCC passed its Third Report and Order on Cable Franchising on August 1 – and while the results of the 3-2 vote were not surprising, the statements coming from the majority members of the Commission were at times alarming, arrogant and disingenuous. More info at http://marintv.org/fcc
