August 16th - Missouri Veterans Commission

Missouri Veterans Commission officer John Simpson will be out our office again on Friday, August 16th to assist Veterans and their families with their entitled benefits. We urge our community members to take advantage of this opportunity!

August 27th - Columbia Veterans Center Mobile

The Mobile Veteran Center will be in our parking lot on Tuesday, August 27th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. They will be offering specialized counseling and other resources to our local Veterans as well as offering free dog tags to those who visit!

Our agency would like to remind you to save the date for our annual Veteran Appreciation Fair & Flag Dedication Ceremony! We will have veteran specific resources, free breakfast and more! Be sure to follow us on Facebook for the event page!

We are excited to announce that we have earned our Level Three Partnership with the We Honor Veterans program! With each star we earn, we learn more about additional steps we can take to ensure we go above and beyond for our local Veterans!

Introducing a new volunteer program...

"The Veteran to Veteran Program is intended for local veterans in our community who are volunteers with Pike County Hospice to assist and help veterans who are near end of life. We want to meet the need of our veteran patient’s in a way that best suits their need. We strive to care for our patient’s with dignity and honor and we have found that veterans helping veterans is a bond that can never be broken."
