SisTersPGH

SisTersPGH is a transgender/nonbinary centered shelter transitioning program based in Pittsburgh, PA. SisTersPGH, Corp offers outreach, accurate trans/nonbinary education, advocacy, and emergency sheltering for trans/nonbinary youth and adults, with the primary goal of establishing permanent low income housing for people transitioning out of emergency shelters.

THANKS & PRAYERS

Thanks to board member Badger Kopnitsky for organizing and leading our latest community gathering to identify how, together, we achieve our mission through the dedication and commitment of our members and friends who volunteer. The meeting helped identify a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into making Allegheny an important spiritual home and force for justice.

Thanks to Katie Parker for sharing this great news: Congratulations to Jesse Landis Eigsti for being named "Best of the Burg" (Pittsburgh Magazine July 2019) one of the 5 funniest people in Pittsburgh. He often performs at Arcade Comedy Theater.

Prayers of healing for Rev Dave in his recovery from shoulder surgery and loss of his father.

Prayers for everyone affected by the tragic loss of Sheldon ("Sarge") Stoudemire in the shooting at Northside Common Ministries.

Prayers for Allegheny friend Jay Poliziani as he leads NCM and the larger community in grieving and responding to these events.
