Working Hard!

Matthew has been working hard these past couple of months on the beginning stages of his thesis.  He has been reading, reading, reading! When reading, he is gathering information about language technology in different language communities. He will use this information as he writes his thesis.

In June, Blaine arrived! Blaine is a college student from South Carolina who is interning with Dallas International University and has been working with Matthew. Blaine has been a tremendous help with the programming for the app that Matthew will be implementing for his thesis.

Matthew is working towards having his thesis completed by mid-November so that he can defend his thesis. Please pray that he is able to work diligently over the next few months.

Would you like to hear more about our ministry in Cameroon? We would love to share about language technology and teaching in Cameroon and how our roles are a part of bringing God's word to the people of Cameroon! If you know of a particular date that would work for you, contact us via phone, email, or Facebook to set up a time!

100% in 100 days!

We have set a goal to be at 100% of our monthly financial partnership within the next 100 days! We pray that God will provide!

Will you help us reach our goal by November 1st?

We currently need $1,140 per month in monthly financial partnership before we will be at 100% of our monthly budget required to return to Cameroon.

We ask you, our friends, family and partnering churches to pray about this with us. If God leads you to help by giving on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis, we say thank you. Many of you already give sacrificially - thank you! If you are not able to give financially, please pray that the Lord would supply our financial needs.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
- Philippians 4:6

Our New Prayer Card!

We have updated our prayer card! Let us know if you want one to put on your fridge or in your Bible so that you can pray for us!

Praise and Prayers

We are so blessed and thankful to have so many people praying for us and our families. Thank you for celebrating with us when God answers prayers!

- Praise that Matthew's grandmother, who suffered a stroke, spent many days in the hospital but has moved to a rehabilitation center. Please pray as she re-learns to speak and eat. Pray that she feels God's strength and presence. Pray that we enjoy our visit with her. We plan to swing by South Carolina on the way to Virginia from Texas.
- Praise that Teresa's mom has some answers to her health concerns. She was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. She has been taking medicine and resting as she regains her strength. She is also having many tests because of a abnormal heart beat and shortness of breath. Continue to pray for healing and answers.
- Praise for how God has blessed our marriage. We just celebrated 6 years!
- Praise that Blaine has been here and working well with Matthew!  Praise that they have made great progress on the programming!
Prayers for Matthew as he continues to make progress on his thesis. Pray that he can be diligent and manage time wisely as we will be traveling a lot of the next couple of months.
Praise that Teresa was able to say goodbye to the team and students as she finished up substituting at First Presbyterian Preschool.
Praise that Teresa had another great trip to Orlando, FL to be a part of the children's program for EQUIP.
- Prayers for safe travel back to Virginia, during our time in West Virginia on the mission trip, and as we travel to speak with churches and partners.
- Praise for relationships with partners and the encouragement we receive from churches, friends, and family. Prayers for new financial partners. Pray that God will provide ways for us to share about our ministry.

"God is wise and powerful! Praise him forever and ever." Daniel 2:20
