#PromiseSquare

This Week's Promise to Share

But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."

Isaish 43:1-2, NIV

Aug. 3 :: Reverse It! Health Seminar

Join Mt. Tahoma Church on August 3 for Reverse It!, a health seminar with Dr. Helen!

Dr. Helen lost her parents to diet exacerbated illness. Her mother was only 59 when she said her last good bye suffering from the complications of type 2 diabetes. Her dad was lost to metastatic prostate cancer, but lived 11 years after his prognosis of having only six months to live.

Can this happen for you? Good news! Type 2 diabetes is reversible—so is heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity and even some forms of cancer and many other inflammatory diseases. If you or someone you love is suffering with any of these conditions, invite them out. Let’s have a conversation.

Summer Time

Each Sunday evening of the summer season, a new age-based or activity-based summer camp group assembles for the first line call of their Sunset Lake Camp experience. With each week, new friendships are forged, new experiences are discovered, new spiritual growth is uncovered. The camp season is nearing its end. Our prayer is that the one week summer camp experience imparts a lifetime of memories and provides a mile marker of spiritual growth for young people.

Bring your whole family to enjoy some time at Sunset Lake Camp! There are still openings for the Family Adventure Weekend this Labor Day Weekend (Aug. 30 to Sept. 1). Affordable pricing options based on family size and housing options. Visit sunsetlake.org/events to register!
