Kingdom Kids: Promotion Sunday
Sunday, August 4

This Sunday children will be promoted to their new Kingdom Kids classes. 

  • 0-2 Year Old Nursery Children born after July 31, 2016

  • PreK Nursery—ages 3-5 Children born before August 1, 2016, and who are not yet beginning kindergarten

  • Lower Elementary—Kindergarten-1st Grade Children who are beginning Kindergarten or 1st grade
  • Middle Elementary—2nd-3rd Grade Children who are beginning 2nd or 3rd grade
  • Upper Elementary—4th-5th Grade Children in this class remain in the service the first Sunday of the month.
Parents drop off nursery children at the break and pick them up at the end of worship. 
Elementary children may go straight to their classrooms at the break, but parents must pick up K-1st grade children at the end of worship. Children in 2nd-5th grade are released to meet their parents/guardians at the end of worship. Donut August is Back!
Sundays, 10 a.m., during coffee time
We’ll have donuts in coffee time every Sunday through the month of August! Come and get ‘em!

New Members Class
Friday, August 23 (6 to 8 p.m.) / Saturday, August 24 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
We have a Friday evening/Saturday morning New Members Class coming up. Please mark your calendars if you would like to join in and also RSVP to Eileen (eogorman@ncfstl.org). Childcare will be provided, as well as dinner on Friday evening.

Considering Individuals to Nominate
Elder, Deacon, and Women’s Leadership Council
As we continue through the 1 Timothy sermon series, please consider individuals in the church you may want to nominate to serve as an elder, deacon or member of the Women’s Leadership Council. Please send any nomination ideas you have to Pastor Roy: rhubbard@ncfstl.org.

LDR Weekend 2019
Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1 
This year's Leadership Development and Resource (LDR) conference will be held in Chattanooga, Tenn. LDR is a national gathering that unites African Americans in the Presbyterian Church in American and invites others to join in. For more information or to register go to aampca.org/conference
