a conference, a full course and short courses!

In our normally quiet winter term, there are some exciting offerings in metro Perth. In south-west WA and Sydney courses are being negotiated.

City of Fremantle, Ecoburbia and Living Smart are hosting a full day conference with David Holgrem headlining it on his Retrosuburbia program (see more below).

Saturday Aug 3rd 9am - 4pm at Fremantle Town Hall

Facilitated by Anne Velasquez & Shani Graham Enrol here

City of Melville has a first - the first running of a waterwise lifestyles short course covering waterwise homes, biodiverse and waterwise gardens and healthy catchments:
Melville water short course at Piney Lakes Eco Education Centre, Leach Hwy, Winthrop on Wednesdays Oct 9th – Oct 30th 6 – 8:30pm Facilitated by Shani Graham (Ecoburbia) Enrol here

City of Joondalup are also scheduling a waterwise lifestyle Living Smart short course for residents in the latter part of this year. If you are keen to hear about dates and enrolment, email us at info@livingsmart.org.au

City of South Perth are also running a Living Smart course, but this time for their council staff to build their knowledge in sustainability.

Finally, Living Smart will be changing behind the scenes as it enters a new chapter of its life. The Board and central administration services such as the main contact point, website updates and e-news, are going to change to be facilitator-run to bring a lower cost, more flexible administration of the program. We will need more volunteer support so let us know if you can help via coordinator@livingsmart.org.au

Cheers Steph Jennings
