Scholarship students at COSAMAR

Same Youth Centre - Patrick FOS Volunteer
|
|
Friends of Same, member Patrick Anderson has spent two months volunteering teaching English and media studies at the Youth Centre. They are very appreciative, and have invited him back next year to run another series of courses.
The Centre is expanding and FoS will supply more computers and laptops in the near future.

Permaculture School Gardens
|
|
Former FoS scholarship students (UNTL Graduates) Isabel Soares and Gabriella Ximenes accompanied Esther Anderson (Covenor) on a recent visit to the permaculture gardens in Same. Isabel is seen with Esther in the photo above.
Kablaki primary school is supported by FoS, it is located at the foot of Kablaki Mountain, an hours walk from Same.
The students have just recently planted new seedlings after harvesting a crop of vegetables. Mainly leafy vegetables that grow quickly. This is part of the Permaculture project.
