Alabama's New Deal Murals Part IV

Join us on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 11:30 am in the meeting room at Cafe 1220 located at 1220 Gilmer Avenue in Tallassee to learn about Anne Goldthwaite's New Deal Art projects. The Dutch treat lunch and program will include a narrative about Goldthwaite's The Road to Tuskegee mural and slides about her fascinating life and career. After the program, we will travel approximately 15 minutes to the Tuskegee post office located at 401 North Elm Street in downtown Tuskegee to view the mural. RESERVATIONS FOR THIS EVENT ARE REQUIRED.
