The Congo Rapids Adventure Golf course at Ufford Park Hotel in Woodbridge, Suffolk
Hi <<First Name>>

We hope you're enjoying the weather wherever you are in the world. It's boiling hot here in sunny Stockport.
Emily is the PIAG Open Champion

Emily is the 2019 Paradise Island Adventure Golf Open Champion after winning the tournament held last weekend.
Emily Gottfried - the 2019 Paradise Island Adventure Golf Open Champion
Emily scored a course record of 30 on the Temple Ruins layout - the course par is 42 - which was enough to fend off the challenge of thousands of other players who competed over the four-day event. Her round included seven holes-in-one on the 18-hole course.

The annual PIAG Open competition takes place across the brand's seven Paradise Island Adventure Golf venues and is the largest Open tournament in the UK with thousands of players competing across three age categories at each venue. The 2020 tournament will see players also compete at the new Paradise Island Adventure Golf site in Plymouth.
Princess Parade Crazy Golf course project in Blackpool

The teams at Blackpool Fulfilling Lives and Blackpool & the Fylde Street Angels have joined forces to refresh and reopen the Princess Parade Crazy Golf course on Blackpool's North Shore.
The Princess Parade Crazy Golf course in Blackpool
The minigolf project is helping homeless people in Blackpool by giving them the chance to work on the Crazy Golf course so it is playable and then staffing it for the season. It's a wonderful plan to give people the opportunity to receive work experience, while also bringing an historic, but disused, miniature golf course back to life.

More information on the project can be found on the Blackpool Princess Parade Crazy Golf Facebook Group.
A look back on our South West of England road-trip

On a day as nice and hot as today we've been reminded of our visit to Perranporth, Cornwall. One of the nicest seasides we've been to on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

The Boating Lake there was a lovely spot to have a sit down to eat our Fish & Chips.

As a bonus, the park benches are next to the lake and a Putting Green.

You can see some more of our recent posts about visits to courses in Torquay, Paignton, Woolacombe, Plymouth and Wesward Ho! during our mammoth road-trip back in 2015 up on the blog.

In a two-week period we visited 62 courses!

Holey Moley

There's a new Miniature Golf TV show airing in the USA at the moment called Holey Moley.

It's a fun and very crazy mix of minigolf, a giant obstacle course and a splash park! The series is made by the producers of the Wipeout TV show.

Our friends and fellow minigolf addicts Pat Sheridan of The Putting Penguin and Tom & Robin from A Couple of Putts will be appearing on the programme. Pat will be on tonight's show, while Tom and Robin will be on in August.

We can't wait to see how they get on.

From Brighton to Burnley on our Crazy World of Mingolf Tour

In March 2007 we visited the 12th course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. It was on the seafront in Brighton. Earlier this month we visited our 912th course. It was a Putting Green in Burnley.
The UK has such a variety of miniature golf courses
We hope you enjoy as much minigolf as you can over the summer.

As always, if you've got any suggestions for where to play, upcoming events or minigolf news please do let us know.

Cheers!
