Lady Luck is coming to the stacks for the evening!
This year we’ve got Vegas style entertainment, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and refreshing cocktails for your enjoyment all the while raising funds that benefit future programming and your library.

Youth programs are taking a post-SRC break

Summer Reading Club was a big success, and we want to thank everyone for participating! Over 2,000 kids registered this year and we are so glad to see everyone attend and visit the library!

The Youth Services Team is going to take a small break this month and prepare for the Fall season of regular weekly programming (Music & Movement, Babygarten Story Time, Tutoring Tuesdays, Early Learning Journeys Story Time, Discovery Kids, and LEGOs)!

Look for their return in September.

Family Game Night will remain active on Thursday nights.

This month’s adult craft will be paper mosaic art.
Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring a design idea/template you’d like to mosaic, your own scissors (recommended), and your own papers you’d like to use.

We’ll be taking FREE back-to-school pictures for homeschool families inside the Genealogy Room of the Library!
Pictures start at 10:00 AM, and will end at 12:00 PM.
Attendees will receive one 4x6 photo. Afterwards, you can find copies of them on our Facebook for you to save and print!

  • Computer Basics: Course for people who have never really used or touched a computer. Emphasis on computer accessories and their uses. Some emphasis on internet/web usage. Keyboarding (typing) sometimes emphasized as well.
August 19 & 23, 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Advanced Excel I & II: Advanced class on database and spreadsheet entry. Emphasis on tables, charts (Pivot) and formatting your workbooks.
August 20 & 22, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Word Basics I & II: Introductory course into Microsoft Word that focuses on how to create, format, and use the tools needed to create a word document.
August 27 & 29 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Basic Excel I & II: Introductory course into Microsoft Excel that focuses on database entry and formula input to make spreadsheets and workbooks.
