Update: Paton's MRI Results

First, we want to thank you all for your prayers for Paton. We met with his primary care doctor yesterday about the MRI results and while it isn’t the worst news, it also isn’t good news. The MRI revealed 40-50 small lesions in his brain. At this point, the lesions are from an unknown cause, but the doctor believes that they are related to his seizures. Her main concern is if they are progressively getting worse or if they are a sign of previous damage/illness. She believes that it is the latter scenario, but there are still many unknowns. The next step will be visiting a neurologist in Spokane, WA on August 22nd. We are grieved by this news and worry what it all means. Please be praying that we will have peace in the Lord while we wait, and that these lesions would either resolve by the Lord’s healing hand, or that they would be passive and not be a sign of worse things.
