Would you share your advice with the UA MCB incoming freshmen class?

Greetings UA MCB Alumni and Donors!

School starts on August 26th and the MCB Department is expecting over 90 incoming freshmen - it's going to be our largest class yet! We’d like your help welcoming our incoming students by getting them off to a great start at the UA and in the MCB major.

We are hosting a welcome breakfast for our new students and plan on giving them a bookmark with pieces of advice, from YOU, our MCB Alumni and donors! We will also include some of your words of wisdom in our August newsletter and in posts on our MCB social media and have slides displayed on our lobby monitor with your photo and tip.

Would you help us encourage our incoming freshmen by replying to this email (or emailing me at michelevaughan@email.arizona.edu) with one piece of advice for our new students? Think back to your time here as an undergrad and send me a few sentences – something you did that make your experience memorable or something you wish you did (or knew) that would have made your experience at the UA even better.

Please include your graduation year, your current job, your current employer and a recent photo that I have permission to use.

Please reply by August 12th so we can share your knowledge at our welcome breakfast!
Alumni Alok Patel shared this advice last year
"Don't forget about learning about the world and the amazing people living in it!"
For last year's freshmen, we created bookmarks with your advice! The incoming students really appreciated your words of wisdom. We will create more this year with all new advice from you!
